Perhaps you're wondering why there is a skeleton (He's called Kunrad and does NOT like the job-description "skeleton") under a gallow with a sword in it's chest?

Well, it's your turn to think of the story behind of it.
I would like to hear your story ;)

Ah. Some random info:
- Software:
Blender 2.49 for Texturing | Modelling | Postpro
GIMP 2.6 for Texturepainting | Postpro
Qtpfsgui (now called LuminanceHDRI) for Tonemapping
Luxrender 0.6 RC4 for Rendering
- Scene specific:
Ate up ~6GB of Memory at the end. I'm kind of unefficient. i know.
16 Mil. Polies used.

EDIT: Added some colorcorrection and did some minor edits. Please drop me a note if you dislike it.

Kyaaaaaa!!!!!! This is beautiful! How did you get it to be so realistic esp. with the moss on the old wooden steps and the photorealistic lighting?

:iconfrogoncoffee:
Moss was made with the Ivy generator (well, yeah, it's actually ivy :P) & scene was rendered in luxrenderer (0.6 iirc), what helps a lot in realistic lighting.

This is a very realistic image! Have you posted this somewhere else as well? Cos I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time I'm looking at it.

Great work. I like the level of detail and the texture work. Only thing iŽd probably try to change is the sky, the red tint looks a bit strange i think.

:+fav: nonetheless ;)

Many thanks.

The sky was really some pain in the ass. I wasn't able to find one that fitted 100% + the one I took had some strange blue-greenish tint. I tried to correct this with some more red color but apparently i failed ;-P
